Summary

Spinning off from the bestselling Dream Man and Rock Chick series, this is the emotional and steamy contemporary romance fans of the Dream Team series have been waiting for!

He’s perfect—but he can’t be hers。

Pepper Hannigan is determined to keep any romance off the table—and out of her bedroom—while her daughter Juno is still young。 Sure, a certain handsome commando is thoughtful, funny, and undeniably hot, but Pepper’s had her heart broken before, and she won’t let it happen again。 Not to her or her little girl, even if this hero could melt any woman’s resolve。

Augustus “Auggie” Hero can’t deny his attraction to beautiful, warm-hearted Pepper or how much he wants to make a home with her and her little girl, but Pepper’s mixed signals have kept him away。 That is, until Juno decides to play matchmaker。 Her efforts finally bring Pepper into his arms, but they expose the danger Pepper is in。 To protect Pepper and Juno, Auggie will have to live up to his last name and prove happy endings aren’t just for fairy tales。

4。5。 Though there's definitely more to come/ another expanded series, this left me feeling more whole and complete at the ending then the last。 A fun, sexy, feel good Kristen Ashley book。 Not a crazy amount of drama, but Pepper, Auggie and Juno sweetness。 4。5。 Though there's definitely more to come/ another expanded series, this left me feeling more whole and complete at the ending then the last。 A fun, sexy, feel good Kristen Ashley book。 Not a crazy amount of drama, but Pepper, Auggie and Juno sweetness。 。。。more

Not my favorite KA book。 A little too sweet for me。 Juno was cute though。

I promise I will, they are on my TBR。 Especially after meeting some of them in this series。 I'm a big fan of the author and I'll be ready for where ever she decides to take me next, the line forms here。。。 。。。more

I love him。 Dislikes: t •Though it was sometimes cute and a main part of the story, It was kinda creepy that this 8 year old is having secret conversations with an adult male that isn’t family or family friend。 And this man is encouraging the lies。 When I overlook this, these convos are some of my favorite moments, so I’m torn。 t •The investigative skills of the commandos wasn’t so impressive this time。 t •A few parts really made me feel like a shitty mom。 My kid grabs a pop-tart on the way to school, I don’t cook a homemade breakfast for him。 t •Too many cameos and side stories taking away from the main couple, and even more new characters are introduced。 There are characters from almost every series in this book。 The Narration: Susannah Jones is synonymous with KA heroines for me, and she did a great job。The Down & Dirty: Kristen Ashley did what she does best in Dream Keeper: families, both born and found。 I love when she writes children and blended families, and both the girls at Smithies and the commandos are like family。 Dream Keeper combined romance, friendship, some action, some crazy, and a curveball I didn't see coming。 This far into a series that combines 3 other series there are a LOT of characters to keep straight。 I've gotten to the point where I don't know who goes with who anymore, but I just go with it and love it anyway。 This is a book for KA lovers, and this KA lover。。。well。。。loved it!Rating: 4。25 Stars, 4 Heat, 4 Narration Purchase Dream Keeper (Dream Team #3) by Kristen Ashley See my Complete Guide to Kristen Ashley for Series Orders Visit anasattic。com for daily audiobook and book releases sales, freebies, reviews and recommendations。 。。。more

Fact #1: The “Dream Man” series was the first standalone romance series that I read beginning to end。 It was also my first exposure to KA。 I love this series and have re-read every book at least once。 It is my ultimate comfort read series。 Fact #2: I have tried and failed many times to enjoy the Rock Chicks。 I know I know。 This is blasphemy。 Butttt I have started at least 4 different books from the series and can’t finish any of them。 They just aren’t my jam。 Too much OTT drama and explosions an Fact #1: The “Dream Man” series was the first standalone romance series that I read beginning to end。 It was also my first exposure to KA。 I love this series and have re-read every book at least once。 It is my ultimate comfort read series。 Fact #2: I have tried and failed many times to enjoy the Rock Chicks。 I know I know。 This is blasphemy。 Butttt I have started at least 4 different books from the series and can’t finish any of them。 They just aren’t my jam。 Too much OTT drama and explosions and unfinished conversation。Because of these facts, I was scared to read these books。 How could my fav series and my least fav series be combined?!?! HOW?!?! Tbh… I’ve been pretty disappointed so far。 I found myself skimming or DNF’g the first 3 with little hope for 4。 They were all either too much Rock Chick or just boring to me。 BUT alas, I cannot resist a single mom/macho dude trope。 And holy cow I found myself pleasantly surprised。I really loved Pepper, Auggie, and of course Juno。 They had some drama in the beginning but once they were on, they were on。 Some people may find this boring but my personal preference is less is more when it comes to push/pull。 I felt like the side dramas provided enough excitement for me that I didn’t feel like I was missing anything from the minimal H/h angst。 Especially the OTT drama of Pepper’s family。 Realistic? Prob not。 Entertaining? Definitely。 I’ve said it before and I will say it again- KA is at her best when writing the complexity of families。 Even when doing it in a way that is so off the charts whacko like Auggie and Pepper’s, she still finds ways to hint at the more redeemable qualities that are masked by their flaws or show us the painful reasons behind their behavior。 Is this KA’s bets work? Will Auggie replace Hawk or Tate Jackson in my heart? Nah。 But it’s a solid 4 star read with potential re-read status when I hit a dry spell and run out of backlog material。 。。。more

When I received DREAM KEEPER for review I went back to read the first book of this series, DREAM MAKER and thought it was an okay read。 I hadn’t read Ashley before so while the DREAM TEAM is a separate series there were characters from prior series I had no information on and there was little to no back story on them。 I felt like I was in the middle of a book with no beginning。 Because of that I didn’t pick up the middle two between Dream Maker and Dream Keeper but dove into Dream Keeper。I start When I received DREAM KEEPER for review I went back to read the first book of this series, DREAM MAKER and thought it was an okay read。 I hadn’t read Ashley before so while the DREAM TEAM is a separate series there were characters from prior series I had no information on and there was little to no back story on them。 I felt like I was in the middle of a book with no beginning。 Because of that I didn’t pick up the middle two between Dream Maker and Dream Keeper but dove into Dream Keeper。I started Dream Keeper early in the morning。 Parked myself on the couch, under an afghan, cup of coffee at my side and a cat on my lap。 I was ready for a "sigh" romance where you could sit and get to know the characters and essentially spend a day with them。 I did just that。 Even at over 500 pages it was the kind of read you can sit with and before you know it the moon is up and you've finished it。 I liked Pepper and Auggie as characters。 I like what they stand for and how they go about taking care of the business at hand。 Both are vulnerable because of their histories and Ashley brings her readers along as they work through the traumas in both their pasts。 The secondary characters, mainly her sister and brother, had their own issues that Pepper and Auggie, with help from their friends help resolve。This is a story of learning to trust, letting love in, and how family can both damage and heal each other。 。。。more

Great single parent romanceI love reading romance novels with kids in them when the kids are great kids, are funny, are sweet, are sometimes bratty, and always cute。 The kid in this romance, Juno, is also fierce and brave。 That made it just as delightful getting to know her as it was getting to know the hero and heroine of this novel。
